Mini Horse Playdate at Sea Swell Campground
On Sunday June 14th, I took the little girls to Sea Swell Campground so the campers could experience a little mini horse time! We spent the day grooming, playing targeting games, and even squeezing in a little art time.
Sea Swell Campground is run by Allison and Eric, who have made this special place feel even more magical this year. Along with all the lovely renovations, they have created such a welcoming sense of community by bringing in local activities and events—including visits from some very cute, very local minis!
The welcome center has a wonderful history of its own, as it was once a horse barn for polo horses. Today, one of the former stalls has been transformed into a cozy seating area for adults, while another is filled with shelves of board games. There is also local wine, beer, and coffee available to purchase.
And the setting is beautiful. The peaceful campground stretches right down to the ocean, with some tent sites tucked beside a little river. It is such a lovely place to spend a summer day.
The girls, Dolina, and I had so much fun meeting the campers and sharing a little bit of Moose Ridge Farm with them. We’re looking forward to heading back a few more times this summer!
